COMMUNITY SERVICE

I continue my personal civic leadership by serving on the New Repertory Theatre Advisory Council and Community Servings' Board of Mentors. Previously, I held volunteer leadership positions with Human Rights Campaign (Director), Celebrity Series of Boston (Director), Institute of Contemporary Art|Boston (Overseer) and WGBH (Corporate Executive Council).

I provide insight to organizations as a curriculum and conference speaker. Engagements have included:

  • Stern School of Business at New York University
  • American Marketing Association
  • IEG Sponsorship Conference
  • Points of Light Foundation
  • The Center for Corporate Community Relations at Boston College
  • International Society of Performing Artists
  • New England Human Resources Association
  • Massachusetts Cultural Council
  • ArtsBoston
  • Bentley College

I have been humbled to be recognized for my leadership throughout the years, being named as one of Boston’s Ten Outstanding Young Leaders, “35 Gay Power Players in Boston” by Boston Magazine and “25 Most Powerful and Influential Gay and Lesbian Executives” by Gay Financial Network.  I have also received a “Service to the Community” honor by Mayor Thomas Menino and was named an Honorary Big Brother by Big Brothers of Massachusetts Bay.
