COMMUNITY SERVICE

 

Dan has held volunteer leadership positions with Human Rights Campaign (Director), Celebrity Series of Boston (Director), Institute of Contemporary Art|Boston (Overseer) and WGBH (Corporate Executive Council).

In addition, Dan has provided insight to organizations as a curriculum and conference speaker. Engagements have included: Stern School of Business at New York University; American Marketing Association; Suffolk University; IEG Sponsorship Conference; Points of Light Foundation; The Center for Corporate Community Relations at Boston College; International Society of Performing Artists; New England Human Resources Association; Massachusetts Cultural Council; ARTSBoston; and Bentley College.

Dan has been  recognized for his leadership throughout the years, being named as one of Boston’s Ten Outstanding Young Leaders, “35 Gay Power Players in Boston” by Boston Magazine and “25 Most Powerful and Influential Gay and Lesbian Executives” by Gay Financial Network. Dan has also received a “Service to the Community” honor by Mayor Thomas Menino and was named an Honorary Big Brother by Big Brothers of Massachusetts Bay.
